be careful w/ powdered DE, it can be VERY harsh on breathing, we only give it to them mixed with sand outside for thier Herbal dust baths. especially in the heat we have had in MA the last week.

I just spray Permethian once a month along with a deep clean out. once it dries it's safe for the birds. in fact some people dunk the birds in the mix to treat them.
