In the 90s we used a cloth diaper service for our kids. Didn’t cost any more than disposable after the initial cost of rubber covers. Plus we had spit up pads and the diapers could be pre treated

my mum did this in australia right up until about 2003 😭 i was '95 baby and my youngest brother was 2000 its affordable and efficient way.
