For instance, a study published in the journal Circulation found that meeting the minimum physical activity guidelines (150–300 minutes of moderate-intensity or 75–150 minutes of vigorous-intensity exercise per week) can reduce the risk of early death by up to 21%. Increasing this amount to two to four times the minimum can further lower the risk by up to 31%​ (Harvard Public Health)
