@lunasilverx_: All forms of labour are unethical. The idea that you have to work to live is unethical. Time and bodies should be monetised but here we are. Models, s€ggs workers, and even labourers literally sell their bodies - yet only one of those is heavily stigmatised. Which begs the question as to why? What place do respectability politics have in an unethical world where technically we’re all losing? How does you working in an office make you better than someone working in the red light district, for example? We all perform in our jobs, whatever they may be. You might think you don’t, but there’s a social contract you agree to when you enter the workforce in any form. Some levels of performance are just more normalised than others, but when you sit and think for a second you realise how messed up it all really is. Do you really think humans were put on this earth to work 8 hrs a day into exhaustion and have no time to actually live?
