I did something something similar with the soffit wallpaper. I cut out flowers and pasted along the top of wall in kitchen. ❤️

In the late 80s, my Grandma went out and bought a whole additional roll of wallpaper to do exactly this, after my Grandpa did his best lining up the wallpaper in their bathroom. 😂
