@ife_hashim: As an Orthodox Christian woman, marriage is very dear to my heart. Apart from wanting to be married since I was a little girl, learning that marriage represents the mystery of Christ and His Church has made me want it more. That being said, my life is not my own, and I want to live for Christ as much as I can (though I’m always falling). And what better way to do that than by monasticism? The Apostle Paul and the Church Fathers let us know of the unrivalled grace in the monastic life.
