my surgery was planned. I knew that an ostomy was a possibility. Mines only temporary but its made a giant difference in my life. I was miserable before. I'm more anxious @ getting reversed.

I'm 11 days post-op (planned surgery) & I thought I was so ready - but the depression kind of slammed into me the last few days. it's really hard to wrap my head around all of this 😔

My colon cancer surgery was planned but the emergency surgery 3 days later because of a leak was not. 1 year with a colostomy and than 15 months with a ileostomy and back to a forever colostomy.
