This is interesting - curious if others have gained weight with the estradiol patch.I just started and will be on the lookout for this. I have a really hard time losing weight/concerned about gaining!

What dose of Progesterone do you take? I use the Estradiol patch .05 + 100mg of Progesterone nightly. I’ve been doing well on this! My Meno Dr wants 200mg of Prog but it makes me so drowsy next day.

For me definitely! I crave working out again. My joints were killing me before. Estrogen has been leaning me out.

I have been in hrt for two years. I haven’t lost weight. If anything I put some that I had lost back on. But I do feel better in so many other ways.

I used to be able to workout 5-6 times a week and now I’m struggling for the energy to do 3-4x. I’m starting hrt and hoping it helps

It has definitely helped me with pain, energy, and brain fog. I agree about the little layer of plumpness. Only negative but manageable with diet.

Hi, it’s been a while since your updates! I got diagnosed with POI recently at age 33. my Gyn suggested to start HRT early to prevent collagen loss, loss in bone density and help with my aches. However as an former anorexic person, I am so afraid of weight gain (especially in by butt and legs) that I am terrified to even try… I planned to go on the lowest dose of estriol gel and minimal dose of progesterone suppositories

Also you’re 50 but eventhough it’s frowned upon starting HRT early it is beneficial I started HRT at 36 due to low testosterone and progesterone I’m 39 now never felt better..

I was able to work out again with heavy weights after taking prescribed progesterone. I am not sore anymore for days and exhausted. It’s really impressive
