me the second day I bought it BUT if you put the mop on top para escurrirlo and turn it the opposite side, then the plan palanquita will go up, then u can step on it to spin.

It’s the gears getting stuck together. I unscrewed the bottom and put some aquaphor oitment on the gear and it went away. Grease is better but I didn’t have any. Vaseline will work also.
