More frozen drinks to come. This video was a figure it out as I go type of video and the end result was cool. The texture was perfect, it tastes nice, and it’s frozen. What else do you want? When it comes to frozen drinks, dilution and temperature are everything, the same way they are with every cocktail. You want minimal water, meaning using sugar instead of a syrup and higher abv spirits if possible. Xantham gum acts as a stabilizer and holds the drink together. Things I would change. I don’t like the rum I chose for this drink. I’d go with a white rum instead. I’d replace the coffee liqueur with banana liqueur for more complexity and tropical vibes. A couple of frozen banana chips would be really nice. And I know someone is going to say that you can’t freeze espresso and it ruins the espresso, etc. Who cares, Billy
