I have 30 minutes a day kids- they might use that 3 days a week. I had a teacher come up to me and tell me she could tell my kids weren’t iPad kids. It’s so sad teachers can tell.

i was the first generation of ipad kids lol! the original ones with those specific chargers. i wasn’t allowed to watch youtube and i remember never being too into the ipad. maybe it’s youtube?

I know a family who didn’t give their kids technology and they’re very creative, talkative, outgoing and love playing with toys. They just turned 5 and 8.

it's not just the screen time, it's what they're viewing too. I grew up on my dell laptop and I mostly watched girly cartoons, dollhouse crafting videos and baking tutorials.

I agree because i was an iPad kid once, but why is iPad addiction so different to any other addiction? (to their favourite toy for example)

Honestly though, as a parent, I refuse to even own an iPad that my child will have access to. Even for road trips. I just don’t want to give myself the opportunity to allow this behavior. It’s wild.

I do a school holiday programme, I can spot them straight away..I'm in New Zealand and we notice the American accents on the younger ones but not the older kids

Coming from a teen who grew up with technology, it's actually suffocating. I get so bored when I don't have my devices and most of my social life is on here. I need them to STOP giving them ipads
