They are difficult to properly clean and you then transfer that grime into your pores each time you shave. 3. Environmental- from plastic containers to our shampoos, soaps, deodorants, plastic toothbrushes and more, plastics now literally rules our life. With disposable razors, you’re throwing away lots of plastic. Disposable and cartridge razors are not biodegradable- blades will rust away over time leaving just the plastic handle. When using a safety razor you’re lowering your impact on the environment. 4. Durable- since the safety razor handle is made of durable material metal, which you can use for years. And it’s pleasantly aesthetic to look at in the bathroom. Also, safety razor could last you forever if looked after properly. There is no doubt your safety razor going to rust in the shower. So, keeping your razors dry and out of the shower is a must. You can shake it dry, loosen it slightly and pat dry but for an extra good care, you can take out the blade from the safety razor and have it dry on a tissue paper. So, you don’t need 3-5 blades on your razor! You can get a better shave at a lower price that uses one single blade!
