@thisisa.dub: I’m so sick of scrolling filtered videos and photos that smooth out all your shit and only show the pretty. It’s not even the fault of the people who post like that. Because believe me, I would LOVE to look perfect in my photos and videos. But that’s exhausting. As I hit 40 and then on, I have FORCED myself to become comfortable with me. Just as I am. Am I always pushing to be better & stronger? Yes. I am also on the flip side, 100% devoted to knowing that cellulite and some body fat is a thing, and it doesn’t mean you aren’t healthy and active. That was such a hang up for me. Thinking someone out there is saying to themselves “damn, she doesn’t look like she works out all the time like she says she does.” Whyyyy??? WHO CARES. So I won’t filter any of it out. I wanna see real people. Real bodies. So I’ll be that. I’m 5’7 I’m 165 lbs I have rolls when I workout, sit down, & exist I have had cellulite even as a 120 lb size 2 I workout 4-5 days each week I prioritize protein more than I ever have in my whole life And I’ll still eat a cupcake No fad will get you there. Good nutrition & moving your body will. I encourage you to be on a HEALTH journey with yourself. Not a journey to perfection. Not a journey of comparison.
