@cranchyou: Touch focus on the Sony A7III is a little tricky but I finally got somewhere with it!! The understanding and explaining of all of this comes with the video I referenced at the beginning. Also I kept saying auto focus by force of habit but like I showed in the video you’ll use the touch to pick a spot and then the shutter to focus it. That seems too slow if you are shooting something fast like a football game. It looked like your lens was hunting before it locked the focus in your example.
