The thing is I can’t do cardio because of a heart condition and I can’t lift waits cause I’m too poor to go to the gym, so I’m only on a calorie deficit. Will it still work?

I had a personal trainer as a friend he said you won’t see results until your 3rd month but stay at it and at 6 it will be phenomenally different
