My tiel loves sitting ony shoulder but my skin is rather bumpy and she like to bite me as an attempt to preen, when it happens I shake my whole body so she if forced off

I have sun conures and I always scream if they play too rough and walk away. They have gotten super gentle that way but it is only going to work with closely bonded parrots

Genuine confused question. With other parrots they make a loud noise when another parrot does something wrong then leaves. So why is saying "ow!" and putting them away considered giving attention?

how would you go about if there was only one bird? I have a quacker and putting him in the cage after being bit makes him scream without stopping. Even after I repeat it doesn't seem to work T-T
