@nativeamericancultures: Woolboy Weaving A few years ago I decided that I wanted to weave Navajo rugs. A year into weaving, I decided that I wanted to weave Navajo rugs using actual sheep wool and not store bought yarn. Eventually my family and I were able to buy some sheep. Spring time came around and we sheared their wool. I purchased some hand carding tools and a Navajo spindle, this was the first step into hand processing my own yarn from our sheep. To this day, I am so glad I was able to do so with the support of my family. It's a lengthy process but worth it in the end. A lifestyle I'm happily living. Your support means everything to me.
