The #Apollonian is anything that is sharply defined and the rational. So, architecture with its geometric beauty and sculpture with its contours are the highest forms of the Apollonian. It's the neat, the ordered and the methodical. It's the completed #Sudoku , the Golden Gate Bridge, or the algorithms of AI. An Apollonian person might be logically minded, prefer textbooks to fiction, science over the arts, and like it when things are tidy and ordered. The Dionysian is chaos rather than harmony. It's frenzy, fervour and rhapsody. The Dionysian is the three-hour-long reading session, the stupor of a Netflix binge, and the euphoria of a rave. It’s pure and intense phenomena. A #Dionysian person might be disordered, unreliable, and wild, but also highly creative, imaginative, and spontaneous. They act before thinking and jump before looking. For Nietzsche, the greatest and purest art is the marriage of the Dionysian and the Apollonian, as manifested in the #Greek tragedies.
