Do you struggle to control your emotions when you’re triggered? It took me years to learn how to control my emotions but I’m going to teach you how in a couple of minutes ⬇️ I’m going to be real with you. This week I’ve had a lot going on mentally because of personal stressors. Today I woke up feeling pretty average but I did my best to shift my perspective to a more positive space & set the intention to have a good day anyway It’s 6am within 1/2 hr of starting work there’s a pissed off member coming at me & my client. This guy was clearly in a mood & ready to g up unfortunately for us we happened to be on the receiving end. It was over the silliest thing & I just could not be fucked. Rather than getting involved in this pointless argument, I chose to disengage. It can be so easy to get sucked into other people’s shit especially when they are being agressive or disrespecting you. The past version of me would have Deff let this ruin my day. But I know now not to allow other people’s pain & projections to control you or your day. This is not to say this did not annoy me. I definitely had to voice my frustrations to get it out of my system but once I allowed myself to feel the frustration I chose to let it go. It took me years to learn how to control my emotions when triggered by a person or situation but I’ll show you the exact practices that I use to stay calm, present & how to let go so you can get on with your day 👇🏽 🤍 Understanding that People & situations that trigger us are mirrors. They are reflecting back to us something about ourselves that are not healed yet on an energetic level. In this situation I knew my energy was off I had gone back into a lack mindset because of the stress I have been going through & I literally attracted this in 🤍 Setting boundaries - be assertive, firm & speak up when you are in a situation where someone is disrespecting you. Communicate your boundaries & if they don’t listen don’t engage. 🤍 Stay grounded by meditating to regulate your emotions better 🤍 Take responsibility for your own shit & learn from it. Ask yourself: - Is there something I could have done better in that situation? - What is this person mirroring back to me? - What lesson is this trying to teach me? 🤍 Set the intention that you are going to let it go rather than remunerating about it for the rest of the day #gymanxiety #anxiety #MentalHealth #breathwork #mindset #MentalHealthAwareness #workout #gymgirl #weighttraining #Fitness #wellness
