Basically, if the ac compressor goes bad u should replace the entire car except the hood insulation pad. Assuming it’s not bad lol

I have replaced dozens of ac compressors most have clutch or bearing failure. I don’t recall any issues or comebacks because not replacing the condenser.

If the clutch goes bad why the hell do you need to replace the condenser? Been doing this 30 years no problems unless compressor blows up.

Dave, I believe that you are a great mechanic hand shop owner, but if you think about what you're saying you want to flush the evaporator core isn't that the same as flushing out the condenser? You'll never get all the metal out of it, but when you use the chemical they have for air conditioning. Dawn dish soap and a high pressure washer. You get about 80 to 90% of the metal shavings out, so in my thing would be. If you're going to replace the condenser receiver dryer, you should replace the accumulator and get it all done the right way

The warranty on the compressor will be void if the condenser was not replaced and system flush was not perform.

any time we touch the compressor the other 3 components get replaced. Do it right or go to a different shop. mic drop!😂

Depends on the failure. Most I experience are clutch failures. No internal damage.

20 year master tech never had to replace condenser if had Black Death flushed it out no problems so mister condenser if you can’t flush a condenser why can you flush the evaporator core
