The A1C is the true indicator of diabetes. Your glucose is within normal limits though.

Because they keep lowering the bar for fasting glucose. It used to be 120. Now they watch trends.

And let me tell you - it happens FAST. The first time my results were over 100, it was about 6 months later and I was 120 fasting and A1C at 5.9.

my unfasted glucose was 42...... they said "do you normally run low" I said yeah, but not THAT low... they said 'well you seemed to be perfectly normal in office, so we aren't concerned 😬

Bc drs usually focus on what they feel like focusing on my last bloodwork my fasting glucose was 102 when the Dr office called me the only thing they even mentioned about was my elevated cholesterol

Yeah, I had a doctor tell me I had “a little bit of insulin resistance” switched docs and was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. 🤦🏼♀️
