@bratbustersparenting: Toddlers generally know right from wrong pretty young. They get it, they know they shouldn't hit or bite, or whatever the behaviour is they are doing, but here’s the thing … What they lack is impulse control. It's not a lack of understanding that causes them to act out. It's just a lack of impulse control. So if you understand that, and you just do consistent corrective actions, they eventually will learn. All those bad behaviours will eventually start to diminish. They'll diminish in intensity, frequency and duration, but it's a slow burn. Toddlers don't learn overnight. Looking for extra guidance on parenting toddlers?
