For example Quran says that one of the sign of a believer is that when God is mentioned to them then their heart tremble and recitation of Quran increases them in their faith. (Quran 8:2). This is experience of thousands of believers not only those in the past but still today, that when verses of Quran are recited it makes a sincere heart tremble and it gives a sudden emotional experience. The second thing is that Quran says we reveal sakinah in the hearts of believers. Sakinah is a type of Peace that comforts a person's heart and it can be felt in the chest, this experience is enough for truthfulness of quran because this experience is also one of many that sincere believers experience. One more sign worth mentioning is that Quran says that a believer remembers God when standing, sitting and lying on their sides and they ponder on the creation of heavens and earth and say Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly. (Quran 3:191). Notice the word 'lying on their sides'. Now, here it gets interesting, this is experience of many believers that they remember God mostly when alone and before sleeping and this position is best position to reflect because your mind is clear even according to scientific studies.
