Why do those stupid slot drains that you have to tile around the sides. Do one that goes left to right. No tiling the sides. This is a cross between a slot drain and a centre waste.

often tile the majority of a ground floor in a house. you're not going to set the shower try out and let the rest of the house fall as it mat 😂. you can't have it every way. set out is spot on👌

Was it not possible to move the waste cutout over to centre the shower to ths tiles, assuming theres no joist in the way and the shower screen would fit still.
