made in America doesn't change other aspects of it. filter media can collapse if it's not the high end frame ultra whatever. even if it's modern, I run nothing but wix and microguard

Fram has less internal filter area from the old tests. I’ve not seen anything to suggest that’s changed.

With a low mileage change frequency you could use a wadded up coffee filter and be fine.

People complain about fram filters. I've used them plenty with no issues. filtering oil is not rocket science. Just change every oil change. Just like expensive oil don't do much especially if you change oil as you should

For me Purolator because its a pretty hefty filter. also Baldwin cuz they have some bigger ones to hold more oil for some engines

There’s nothing wrong with using Fram filters. I’ve used them over the years with no problems.

The car I had from 06-18 only had a dram oil filter along with Castro synthetic oil its entire life. Changed every 3000 miles. Ran perfect until I was rear-ended at a stop light.

I've used Fram for 2 decades on every single one of my cars and have never had an issue. If Fram really fell apart as often as people say, they'd be out of business.

Cut the filter open and you will see run a k&n or ac Delco much better

what are they talking about I have a 08 Grand caravan would almost 350,000 miles on it I've only changed the oil probably maybe five times since I've owned it and never change the filter works great
