I developed home sickness going to camp in primary school.It was so embarrassing & I suffered long afterwards,reliving the feelings at night.My mum came,but wasn’t allowed to take me home.

My boys went to 1 camp hated it I never made them go again. Our daughter loves camp but she only stays for the daytime and we pick her up when it’s time for bed and take her back next day.

I absolutely loved the school camp I went on at that age. It was the one time in childhood where I felt I fitted in. I remember it vividly. It is an important memory for me.

I don’t let my 7 yr old have sleep overs nor do I allow him into neighborhood kids houses they can play in my backyard not in my house either,he’s is not to accept food or drinks from anyone.

My son when he was in year 6 after a camp refused to ever go on another one. It was about the boys being rude and horrible to the girls.

I wouldn't let if I could do it over my child go on a camp he was abused it wasn't on school camp but it was a camp for boys that he was wrestling with competition all the boys where drugged & abused
