@mummyandherthree.autism: 😂 honestly, your traditional methods of making a child laugh do not work with Oliver. Lilly laughs at the most things, she finds me hilarious, Oliver on the other hand, is very humbling when it comes to my comedy 😂. He does laugh and he has the best laugh ever but it's very rarely as a result of something I am doing. I can walk like a dinosaur and Lilly laughs, Oliver however, will look at me like 'WTF you doing'. His 'WTF' face makes me laugh though. He has gotten more involved in things like chase, which is amazing. Seeing him giggle and run away is gorgeous, he used to just stand and stare at me. He now likes me charging at him doing funny movements now too, which again is lovely. It's not always though and he will very quickly let you know he is not interested, he basically just walks off 😂. I have learnt I can't be too sensitive because it's nothing personal, he just isn't interested overall and what he finds funny is different to what a neurotypical child finds funny.
