I'm from Laredo Texas, and yea Nuevo Laredo to monterrey is a crazy bad roadway..too many gangs working for cartels constantly patrol those roads and pull you over , if you tell em where your going after being asked, they'll take everything from you or if you got a nice vehicle, they'll take it from you..if you look fairly healthy, your valuable for sex or body parts removal..if u fight they unlive u

my family stopped entering MX through Laredo these past few years. We go through Piedras Negras when driving, it's safer, but now we prefer flying in. :(
