@happilyhuxford: Replying to @Brooke Gonzales here is how I made my floating pumpkins 🎃 The faux carvable pumpkins I used are from Target but you can get them from Joann’s or Michael’s too. I plotted this for almost a year and was able to snag a bunch secondhand off FBMP the prior year after Halloween in anticipation for this project 🙌🏼 I drew fun jack’o’lantern faces with a sharpie and carved the faces out with a hot knife. The hot knife is KEY! Carving them without it would have been an ordeal. I also drilled a very small hole through the stem so I could string clear fishing wire through. I hung the fishing wire on clear command hooks on the ceiling. Make sure when you hang them they are far enough off the wall that they don’t constantly bump into the wall behind them. Also hang them are varying lengths and depths, it helps with the overall look! I put a small battery operated LED light inside each pumpkin. The lights I used change colors and are remote controlled. I turned them on/off every evening with the remote. I think I made 16 of them! I stored them in a box in the basement after Halloween and I’m soo excited to pull them out again this year. Please note that this is not my original idea! As content creators its so important to give credit where it is due. I’ve seen these floating around the internet for a few years now. I think they were most popularized by @McKenna Barry and I see hers more often than anyone else’s. #halloweendecor #halloweendiy
