The ALS Society has a free loaner closet. They got my dad a sit to stand motorized recliner, bed, and hoyer

Get an automated hoyer lift. It helped both caregivers as well as my dad. Recommend you get it now and learn how it’s used and then set it aside.

One time my mom hooked the hoyer lift up wrong and wrapped it around my dads chair and he was just stuck in the air until the fire dept could come
