Not an excuse- but a lot of people have no clue how to water plants correctly and how much water it truly takes to make sure the soil is properly soaked. Neighbor either had no clue how to water.

You can get a timer system on Amazon that you set to water at certain times for like 50$ it’s a game changer. Also drip systems for the hanging baskets!
