I had to get an iud removed urgently TWICE. couldn't find any doctor, gyno gave appointment in a month. no clinics, no walking do the thing either. went to a hospital and they said they didn't do the

Bless my doctor bc I be in them walk ins and she has never mentioned it once. I think she knows her hours are too exclusive

I’m scared for when my fam dr retires in the next few years. When anyone in my fam calls we immediately go in within a day or 2! We even have his cell in case of emergency 😭

I got a super angry call from my useless GP bc he refused to prescribe me birth control so I went to a walk in. I told him he SHOULD be charged, someone else had to do his job for him. Crickets.

I'm in Alberta and I can call my local walk in and get in same day, all my refurals are put thru no problem. But you guys in Ontario are having so many issues.

Doctors get billed when you go to a walk in clinic 🙄 it's rediculous... in Cambridge, ON we only have one clinic doing X rays

Its the wild wild west! Technically to avoid you going to a walk in they should be alotting more time slpts for last minute appointments. My Drs office does this and also has extended "walk in hours

My mom’s Dr told her to go to Emergency to get her injection while her doctor was on vacation 😏 Yeah, sent a 75yo senior to Emerg, risking contracting something while waiting for 6-8hrs to be seen.

I'm in ONT and my family doctor has an after hours clinic every night connected with other doctors in town. They all take turns doing it. It weird that it isn't a standard thing across the board

i like the way my dr's office is set up. you can get a same-day phone appt to explain ur problem, THEN he books u in within 1-2 weeks if u need to be seen, AND he takes walk-ins every sunday
