My husband hauls fuel and says the “off brand” fuel is basically water. It’s only shell, marathon, and BP for us.

Walmart gas is a no go. I worked as a service writer and gas tanks had to be replaced due to water in the gas at Walmart.

This is 💯 true. I tracked my mileage on Shell vs Arco for a while. I got much worse gas mileage on Arco. Eliminating any savings you thought you had. I feel sorry for people wasting $$ on cheap gas!!

All the gas comes out of the same pipeline. The additives don't make that much of a difference.
