Quick question, Why replace the quick disconnect on the sink?? Isnt that the point of it that it skips that step when replacing a garbage disposal? Just wondering

I can’t tell you how many times I see that someone didn’t understand the 3pt mount and had drowned it in caulk! 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
