In Romans 9:12, Paul was quoting from the Old Testament: Malachi 1:2, “Yet Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.” The passage was only making a clear contrast between God’s choose and love for the people Israel (Jacob’s namesake and his offsprings) verses Esau’s offsprings. God would use the journey of Israel, Jacob’s offsprings, to demonstrate to the world to come God’s mercy and power. Not through Jacob but Esau. God was ONLY making a clear distinction. God’s choice was not made because of the twins’ works. For Romans 9:11 says, “Yet before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad—in order that God’s purpose in election might stand.” Romans 9:15 says, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” Romans 9:18 says, “Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.” So, SOMEBODY has to be elected by God to do specific works in His purpose. His goal has always been to allow EVERYONE an opportunity to be saved. Trust the plan! Brother, let God have His way. Don’t let your own hate for white people get twisted with Jesus’s love for all people. We all should beware of the disclaimer that’s coming on Judgment Day. Love EVERYBODY, PLEASE!
