It’s first come, first serve so you have to get there early to sign up. We waited in line at 9:30am to wait for the museum to open and there were plenty of people already waiting. Pro tip is to buy the admission tickets online so once they open the doors, you can scan your ticket and make a beeline to the portrait corner. The portrait corner doesn’t open until 11am, but you’ll have to wait in line to put your name down. The drawing took about 40 and the portrait corner closes at 5pm so they only take a handful of people a day. Single portraits are faster than multiple people. 1 person: ¥ 2000 30 min 2 people: ¥ 4000 40 min 3 people: ¥ 6000 50 min Outfit: ¥500 per person You can also use a photo reference for someone not physically there.
