I used knight Oleg for this fight and he was pretty good. Black nice tiche would also be a good option. Hope this helps

Shabiris (spelt that all wrong) woe. It's a talisman that attracts aggro. Equip it, summon, then put whatever else you had on before. That way your mimic gets the attention.

They definitely toned the mimic down for the DLC, the bosses don’t even keep aggro on them if you don’t attack after a certain time
