@chefsarahtodd: 🧀 Herb & “Houda” Heaven! 🧀 I know we all think it’s Gouda, but it’s pronounced “Houda”! Enjoy this homemade naan filled with gooey, herby goodness. Soft, fluffy, and oh-so-delicious. Perfect for a cosy night in! Ingredients for Naan: • 2 teaspoons honey • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast • 1 cup warm water • 1 cup full-fat plain Greek yoghurt • 4 cups all-purpose flour • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder • 1 teaspoon baking soda • 1/2 teaspoon salt • 6 tablespoons salted butter, melted Gouda & Herb Filling: • 4 cups shredded Gouda cheese • 1/4 cup mixed fresh herbs (such as parsley, coriander, and dill), chopped Instructions: 1. Prepare Yeast Mixture: Dissolve honey in warm water. Sprinkle yeast on top and let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy. 2. Mix the Dough: Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Add the yeast mixture and Greek yoghurt. Mix to form a soft dough. 3. Knead on a floured surface until smooth (8-10 minutes). Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled (about 1 hour). 4. Prepare Filling: Mix shredded Gouda with chopped herbs. 5. Shape and Fill naan: Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 portions. Roll each into a ball, then flatten into discs. Place a portion of filling in the centre of each disc, fold over, and pinch to seal. Gently roll out each filled dough into an oval shape. 6. Cook Naan: Heat a skillet over medium-high and cook naan on each side for 2-3 minutes until puffed and golden. Brush with butter. Enjoy the gooey, herby #HomemadeNaan #CheesyGoodness
