Tip of advice from someone who has also experienced this you need to try and talk to them to apologize if you were in the wrong or tell them you forgive them if they were because that friend is too

it wasnt just stupid, i simply couldnt bear to roleplay with him on a constant basis which he was upset about, I still love him but like a quote said: "If you really love them, you'll let them go.".
