Bless 🙏🏼 I “bought” and audio book on my dads account years ago and never got past the first chapter. A year later I went to listen to it and it wasn’t available on audible’s platform anymore and I couldn’t listen to it. 🤦🏻♀️been traumatized by these “licensing” subscription platforms ever since. I’ve been relying on the library but they just removed a boatload of my favorite re-listens and I’m traumatized again

Audiobook shelf doesn’t work on mac(mine is too old) so I am going to load them back onto Apple Books for now. I’ll put them on a server in a bit

If I put those downloaded audiobooks in the app does it still play in the app if the audiobook is deleted from the downloads and not the app would it still play

I couldn't get it set up to use at the same time as my VPN so now I pay $3/mo for Pikapods to have it on their server for me to access

I just found out that the audiobooks I thought I bought didn’t belong to me. When I deleted my Amazon account I lost access to my audiobooks permanently.
