Lasst Krachen… 🇺🇸STUFFED STICKY RICE WITH TOFU-RAGOUT🇺🇸 INGREDIENTS (4 portions) FRIED RICE 5 tbsp olive oil 1/2 cup coarse bulgur 1 cup jasmine rice 3 1/2 cup water 1 tsp salt  2 tbsp freshly ground pepper 2 carrots, finely chopped 1 yellow+red bell pepper, finely chopped 1 bunch parsley, finely chopped TOFU RAGOUT 600 g natural tofu, dried and crumbled in a towel 4-6 tbsp rapeseed oil 3 tbsp cornflour 2 tsp salt, 2 tsp black pepper 2 tsp cumin, ground 2 tbsp dark soy sauce 3 tsp coconut blossom sugar 200 ml water TOPPING Sriracha + balsamic cream 1️⃣Dry  tofu in a towel and crumble with your hands. Mix it with cornflour and a pinch of salt. 2️⃣Heat Oil in a pan and fry tofu until it becomes crispy. Add remaining ingredients and simmer until  tofu starts to brown. Pepper, cumin, dark soy sauce, coconut blossom sugar and 200ml water and simmer until liquids have evaporated. Set aside. 3️⃣Put rice, bulgur and 1 tsp of salt in a pot with 3 3/4 cups of water and bring  to boil. Once cooking reduce heat to the lowest setting and leave to simmer with the lid on until no more liquid remains. 4️⃣Heat oil in a pan and fry pepper for 2 min. Add bell peppers and carrots and fry for a further 5 mins. Add rice-bulgur, parsley and fry until rice gets crispy. 5️⃣Place a portion of rice in a small bowl and form a small hollow in the middle. Add 2-3 tbsp of tofu ragout and press the mixture down firmly.
