@rogersb2000: This project was pretty quick and super easy. I definitely would recommend this project and it’s something that I’m going to be in incorporating into some other rooms in my house as well 🤗 if you’re looking to do an accent wall or accent of any kind in your house, I strongly recommend going to Home Depot and seeing what kind of panels they have because all you need for them is a nail gun and some paint #b#benjaminmoorep#paintp#paintinga#accenta#accentwalld#DIYd#diyprojectb#budgetfriendlyb#budgetfriendlydiyd#diningroommakeover
Pro tip, Home Depot will cut that paneling in half for you in store and it’s much easier to transport and the cut is crisp!

I saw someone else talking about how the paint samples aren't actually good wall paint, it's like hobby paint just to see the color but not too use. no idea if that's true or not

Carpenter here. Not trying to be negative but that shelf is not secured. It you put any weight on it, it will eventually pull away from the wall over time. Get rid of that molding and replace it with a 1x3. Use liquid nails and the nail gun.

Paint your outlet cover! Just rough it slightly with sandpaper and the paint stays on no problem!

Wouldn’t it be easier to paint it first and then touch up as needed

Awesome job!! Would you happen to know the color of the inspirational panel? Your color is beautiful but the other color suits my home better.😊
