This is because when you close your eyes in the sun, you see this orange brown. Blue is the opposite of orange, ur eyes become ‚tired‘ of orange and will see blue stronger :)

EXPLANATION: the complimentary colour of blue is orange and when sun is in your eyes and u close them u see orange, when u see one colour for a while when u look away it has a tint of its (½)
