Guess I took my last trip to Barcelona in 2024. I don’t believe they are considering all of the $ tourism brings to your city. We stayed in a great hotel and had a lovely time there. ❤️

Well, then they better calculate the impact of what no tourist money is going to do to Barcelona because that will be a negative needs to be considered. They need to find balance.

Silly approach, attack the people jumping at the incentive vs those that enable it (government). It makes a point but if the government isn’t addressed, Barcelona will have fences for tourists.

Air b&b and the likes have the same negative impact on any tourist town housing gets taken up for short term lets and the young locals can’t afford anywhere to live

I can understand it I just got back from Europe and I didn’t enjoy Paris Rome and a few other places because it was way too crowded to the point you couldn’t enjoy it!

While I totally understand the frustration at tourists....it's hard for me to take this seriously when Barcelona averages 9-10M per year and in Orlando we average 73-75M. lol
