I just bought it and thought the same thing the first time I tried it. It even smells similar to the older hairsprays (like Aquanet). It does work well to set my makeup.

I actually have used hairspray as setting spray before, when I had to setting spray 😳 Probably not good for the skin, but works in a pinch 😂

When I was a little girl in the 70s, the moms for our dance recital, always sprayed our faces with the cheapest hairspray ever to set our make up lol!

I've been saying this since it's come out. Buy a big can of hairspray it's cheaper and does the same thing. I've been doing it for years.

I’m gonna try that because my setting spray doesn’t stay on because I sweat a lot from menopause. Love your hair. I wish I had nice thick hair like that.
