Andre :
this is how all my nightmares are. I've even gotten to the point where I know I'm dreaming but I can't wake up so I just have to sit there and deal with whatever is happening.

this sounds like it's genuine fears you are having, bc it's after graduation you feel lost or without direction, pick up a new hobby or otherwise give yourself goals to address it

Critic. :
You’re stressed and it’s normal right out of college since the future is so uncertain. You’ll be okay but maybe go to a therapist or psychiatrist just to make sure it’s nothing else

johnson.evan12 :
Nightmares are the subconscious asking the conscious do we need to prepare for this. Once brought into the conscious mind, you can recognize and release.

Yo fun fact recent studies suggest that dreams are actually happening in our heads all the time, and we just get to see them when we’re asleep so you could be having even more nightmares while talking

who cares :
I dream sometimes and the dreams that I am able to recollect often doesn’t even involve me. It’s usually third-person, however when I have nightmare most of the time it’s in first person.

Something that helps (only on occasion) is writing down a to do list before you go to bed instead of in the morning and then it like clears your head of everyday stressors cause they’re out of brain

I truly think it's a part of growing up, I noticed after a certain age most of my nightmares revolved around realistic things instead of made up fantasy scenarios

The Naptown Exchange :
After you get sober it's not uncommon to experience intense weird dreams. They eventually fade. You could practice lucid dreaming, it typically wakes you up or you take control of the dream for a bit.
