@lifegoalinvestments: Economic Update. The reality is, the economic backdrop is incredibly uncertain right now. A lot of professional economists have moved to the ‘Soft Landing’ camp. Soft Landing refers to the Fed being able to bring down inflation without causing economic growth to go negative- and there’s a good argument to be made by a lot of bright minds that believe this is our current direction. But we also must realize the odds are stacked against us- when looking at the Fed’s track record, you’ll realize they’ve only successfully done this ONCE (1994-1995). As a result, it seems like an intelligent approach to DIVERSIFY. Generally speaking… Stocks may continue to fair relatively well in a soft landing scenario. In a hard landing scenario, bonds traditionally do well. If inflation re-emerges, alternatives have traditionally done the best.
