📍 HOW TO GET TO THIS BEAUTIFUL SWIMMING SPOT: (Plus, strategies on how to beat the crowds!)👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 💚Save this post for planning! ⛰️30 Foot Pool is only about a 10 minute hike from the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge, on the North Shore of Vancouver, British Columbia. There is a parking lot at the suspension bridge, that can get to from Peters Rd, North Vancouver. You can get to 30 Foot Pool two ways from the suspension bridge parking lot: 1. Cross the suspension bridge, then take a left on the Baden Powell Trail. Hike for 10 minutes until you find the pool. It will be right before you encounter a large wooden staircase that takes you further along the trail. 2. If you don't want to deal with waiting in line to cross the suspension bridge, which is unfortunately more likely in recent times with the rise in popularity of this beautiful spot, you can instead take a left right BEFORE crossing the bridge, and following the trail for 10 minutes until you get to the far side of the pool. Here, you will have to climb down a somewhat steep bank (there's a rope halfway down to help make sure you don't slip), and you will then be able to access the water too! ⚠️The parking lot for Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge fills up fast in the summer!! If you want to visit the pool but the parking lot is full, there's another parking lot on the other side of the river that you can try. It's called Lynn Canyon Park East Parking Lot, and you can get to it by driving up Lillooet Rd, which begins at the intersection of Fern St and Hwy 1 exit 22A. 3. From the East parking lot, you can follow the Baden Powell Trail either North or South. South will take you to the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge, where you can then follow the trail listed in option 1. If you follow the trail North, when you get to a fork, turn left, which will take you on the trail to the TOP of the wooden staircase I mentioned earlier. Go down the stairs and you will be at the pool! Make sure you bring a towel to warm up once you're done swimming. It's refreshing, but cold! 😄 How crowded was it when you visited this spot? Have I missed any tips? Let me know in the comments! #vancouver #lynncanyon #30footpool #whattodoinvancouver #northvancouver #vancouverbc #thingstodoinvancouver #vancouversummer #vancouversummertodolist
