Imo if the relationship is healthy between both parties then there's no rush in moving out. Everything is so expensive these days so if you have the opportunity to stay, stay and save up

I moved out at 18 and hadn't even graduated yet. I learned a lot about independence, responsibility and never went back. My brother didn't rush it, and they kept going back home multiple times.

Moved out when I was 19, went back a couple times before never looking back at 22. I say move out when it’s mentally right for you.

I think if they move out when they’re younger…it makes them take on more responsibility. But yeah …too expensive to do that

I think its different for you. Most parents don't have a full furnished basement. That makes things different. If you wait for the right time, it will never come 💓

34 and my son & I live with my parents. We've been on our own before but it's too expensive out there nowadays. I work full time but still don't have the money for a place. I hate it but grateful.
