I'm from Chicago. My wife and I did this drive in the winter years ago. I was driving 5mph. It was one of the most beautiful yet scary drives ever. But we absolutely loved it.

My dad rebuilt that highway in 1970 he was a foreman on that 2 years later he passed away building the interstate by Terry Montana!! I was 3!! ❤️I do today what he did then!! we retire in 9 months!!!
